I Said YES! – Our Engagement Photo Session With One Of My Very Best Friends

Full Disclosure: Amongst my friends and family, it’s no secret that by the time Mac proposed, I  was admittedly far past the point of “hinting” that I’d like a ring, and had become totally comfortable with bringing it up pretty much any chance I got. I know this is something  I should be a bit embarassed of, but in the spirit of honesty, I will completely admit that I did not have a lot of grace during my season of waiting. Fortunately, Mac is a patient guy, and somehow this did not drive him completely bonkers! And despite my impatience, the moment he got down on one knee and popped the big question still managed to completely take my breath away.

It was the most special I’d ever felt in my entire life and a moment I wish I could relive every single day.

On a later post, I’ll be sure to tell the full story of his magical proposal and the moment I finally got to say “Yes!” to what was the absolute easiest question in the world. For now, I’d like to share the photos taken during our Engagement Photo Session by one of my dearest friends, Carter. She is so talented & we are so lucky to have someone with such a big heart in our lives. She will be one of my bridesmaids on the big day, and I am so grateful to be sharing in these moments with her. Check her out on Instagram!!

Below, I’ve shared a few of my very favourite images from our session with her. We took them in the town and on the campus of Mount Allison University which is where we met, and such a special place to us. Carter was so great at making us feel relaxed (especially Mac), and feel comfortable being silly in front of the lens!
